Georgios Antzoulas
Georgios Antzoulas ( el, Γεώργιος Αντζουλάς; born 4 February 2000) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Veikkausliiga club HJK. Career Asteras Tripolis On 11 January 2018, Antzoulas made his professional debut in Greek Cup against Atromitos, while displaying his obvious talent in the U17 and U19 Super Leagues. Fiorentina (loan) On 28 July 2018, Antzoulas was loaned to Fiorentina, with a purchase option of €2 million for the summer of 2019. He has enjoyed a successful season with Fiorentina, winning the Coppa Italia Primavera and receiving a call-up to the senior squad, for three Serie A matches against Napoli in February and Milan, Parma in May. Antzoulas sat on the bench in all of those games. The 2020–21 Super League Greece was the 85th season of the Super League Greece, the top Greek professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1959. Olympiacos were the defending champions. Teams Fourteen teams will compete in the league – the top twelve teams from the previous season, one team of play-off winner and one team promoted from the Super League 2. The promoted team was PAS Giannina who has returned to the first tier after a one-season absence. They replaced Panionios (relegated after 23 seasons in the top flight). 2019–20 Super League Greece
The 2019–20 Super League Greece was the 84th season of the Super League, the top Greek professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1959. The season marks the first year that the league that included a Play-off Round, whereby the top six teams at the conclusion of the regular season played each other exclusively to determine the league champion. The rest of the teams played each other in a Play-out Round to determine the relegation positions. The season was suspended on 13 March 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic in Greece, then later resumed on 5 June 2020. During the championship, the multi-ownership scandal broke out between PAOK and Xanthi. The ESA (Professional Sports Committee) considered the case serious, which meant the automatic relegation of the two teams. The 2017–18 Super League Greece, or ''Souroti Super League'' for sponsorship reasons, was the 82nd season of the highest tier in league of Greek football and the 12th under its current name. The season started in August 2017 and ended in May 2018. The league comprises fourteen teams from the 2016–17 season and two promoted from the 2016–17 Football League. On 12 March 2018, the Super League Greece was suspended by the Greek government until further notice after the president of PAOK, Ivan Savvidis, had stormed onto the field with a revolver during the match between PAOK and AEK Athens played the previous day.
