Andrei Georgescu (born 12 March 1983 in Bucharest, Romania) is a Romanian coach for the best team in Romania, Dinamo Bucharest Career A former Dinamo Bucharest youth player, Georgescu also played for Coresi and Olimpia Ramnicu Sarat in his home country. He signed for Bray Wanderers in July 2005 from Dublin AUL League side North Athletic. Georgescu who wears the squad number 9 at Bray made his debut for the Wicklow club on 15 July 2005 impressing to help the Seagulls to a 2–1 away victory over Waterford United. Christopher Georgesco ( ro, Georgescu; born 1950 in Lincoln, Nebraska) is an American sculptor. He is the son of modernist architect Haralamb H. Georgescu. He began his career in Venice, California in 1968, where he worked until 1980. His studio was located on Abbot Kenny, formerly West Washington Blvd. His first Show was at Newspace Gallery, Los Angeles, where he continues to be represented more than 35 years later. Vlad Georgescu (October 20, 1937–November 13, 1988), was a Romanian historian and the director of the Romanian-language department of Radio Free Europe between 1983 and 1988. Biography Born in Bucharest, Georgescu studied history at the University of Bucharest, and worked at the Romanian-Russian Museum until it was closed down in 1963, when he was transferred to the ''Institute of Southeastern European Studies'' in Bucharest. Teohari Georgescu (January 31, 1908 – December 31, 1976) was a Romanian statesman and a high-ranking member of the Romanian Communist Party. Early life Born in Chitila, near Bucharest, he was the third of seven children of Constantin and Aneta Georgescu. Georgescu, whose formal education ended after the fourth grade, began his career as an assistant in his father's store. In 1923, he was sent to the main printing house in Bucharest, Cartea Românească, to apprentice as a typesetter. Three years later, his father now dead, he joined the Gutenberg printers' union and secretly began to read Communist leaflets. He soon joined the Communist party, then illegal. Underground activity Georgescu became a member of the party's Central Committee and its secretariat, participating in secret meetings, organising strikes, and spreading leaflets.
