Georges Kramer
Georges Kramer (born 1898) was a Swiss footballer and coach. Biography Georges Kramer, like his brothers Auguste and Edmond, was a Swiss international, before continuing his career in France. He made his debut for FC Cantonal Neuchâtel, ancestor of Neuchâtel Xamax FC, before playing for Grasshopper-Club Zurich, and then FC Bienne. He left Bienne to join FC Cette in 1922. With the ''Dauphins'', he took part in an exceptional season, winning the Championship from the Ligue du Sud Est and reaching the final of the Coupe de France. However, he was involved in an infamous "affair" in 1923. The sétois club, before the advent of professionalism in French football, were accused of ''shamateurism''. Georges Kramer left for Gallia Club Lunel, a team who aspired to play in the highest levels of the league. He joined the club, in 1924, with his two brothers. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Between 1917 and 1919, the competition was called the Coupe Charles Simon, in tribute of Charles Simon, a French sportsman and the founder of the French Interfederal Committee (the ancestor of the French Football Federation), who died in 1915 while serving in World War I. The final is played at the Stade de France and the winner qualifies for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League and a place in the Trophée des Champions match. Fernand Brunel
Fernand Brunel (9 February 1907 - 11 March 1927) was a French international footballer. He played as a striker for Gallia Club Lunel and then FC Sète 34. Life Brunel started playing football for the l'Ecole Professionnelle de Nîmes, where he studied. He then enrolled at Lunel College, playing for Gallia Club Lunel's first team from 1922 until 1926. On 18 April 1926 he became a French international soccer player, playing with France against Portugal played at the Stade des Ponts Jumeaux in Toulouse. He scored two goals that day. He joined FC Sète for the 1926/1927 season. Amateur sports are sports in which participants engage largely or entirely without remuneration.
