George S. Barrett
George S. Barrett is an American business executive in the health care industry. He served as chairman and chief executive officer of Cardinal Health, Inc. from 2009 to 2017. He joined the board of the Columbus Foundation in December 2017. Hi Early life and education Born to Lucille and Herbert Barrett, George Barrett was one of five children. He attended Westport, Connecticut's Staples High School. Barrett received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and his M.B.A. from New York University. Childhood cancer is cancer in a child. About 80% of childhood cancer cases can be successfully treated thanks to modern medical treatments and optimal patient care. However, only about 10% of children diagnosed with cancer reside in high-income countries where the necessary treatments and care is available.
