George Paton was a Scottish football player during the 1940s and 1950s. Dumbarton (; also sco, Dumbairton; ) is a town in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, on the north bank of the River Clyde where the River Leven flows into the Clyde estuary. In 2006, it had an estimated population of 19,990. Dumbarton was the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Strathclyde, and later the county town of Dunbartonshire. Yoker ( gd, An Eochair) is an area of Glasgow, Scotland, on the northern bank of the Clyde east of Clydebank, west of the city centre. From the fourteenth century, the Renfrew Ferry has linked Yoker with Renfrew on the south bank. Although shipbuilding has declined, the nearby Yarrows shipyard, now owned by BAE Systems, is still in operation. The name is an Anglicisation of the Scottish Gaelic ''Eochair'' meaning a river bank.
