George Lagogianes
George Lagogianes is a Canadian television personality, best known as a longtime reporter and anchor for CP24. Lagogianes graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute with a bachelor's degree in radio and television arts. After graduation, he began work in 1988 as a camera operator for local Toronto television station Citytv and national music network MuchMusic, which at the time were both owned by CHUM Limited. He became a "videographer" for the ''CityPulse'' news programme in 1989, subsequently becoming a host and reporter for the national Bravo! arts network. ''Electric Circus '' (also known as ''EC'') was a Canadian live dance music television program that aired on MuchMusic and Citytv from September 16, 1988 to December 12, 2003. The name originated from a nightclub that once existed at Citytv's first studio at 99 Queen Street East in Toronto. Beginning in 1994, the show was also simulcast on MuchUSA. It had a loyal following among United States viewers, especially dance music fans. A Francophone version of ''Electric Circus'' aired on Musique Plus, broadcasting live from Montreal in the same format as the Toronto version. Ann Margaret Rohmer (born March 2, 1958) is a Canadian television personality known for her work on Citytv and CP24 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Early life and career Rohmer's father is Richard Rohmer, an officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force. She grew up in Don Mills. Rohmer was trained by top figure skating coach Sheldon Galbraith, Rohmer competed at the provincial level until she was involved in a car accident at the age of 14. Although this ended her skating career, it has not stopped her from playing tennis, being an aerobics instructor and avidly participating in both water and downhill skiing. She attended Branksome Hall before transferring to Northern Secondary School in her final year of high school, graduating in 1974. CTV Drama Channel (formerly known as Bravo) is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by Bell Media. The channel was founded as the Canadian version of the U.S. channel Bravo (which is now owned by NBCUniversal) on January 1, 1995 by Moses Znaimer and its owner CHUM Limited, and originally focused on performing arts, drama, and independent film. As with its U.S. counterpart, the channel has dropped its arts programming but unlike its U.S. counterpart, which shifted to female-targeting reality and lifestyle-oriented series, the Canadian channel adopted a general entertainment format with a focus on drama.
