George Kringelbach
George Kringelbach (16 June 1927 – 11 May 1979) was a Danish journalist and gastronome. Biography Family history Kringelbach was born on 16 June 1927 as the seventh child of journalist and editor cand. phil. Arne Kringelbach and wife Charlotte Cathrine Cecilie née Esbensen in the family's home at Vodroffsplads 12, Copenhagen and on 28 August he was baptized Georg Kringelbach in St. Mark's Church, Copenhagen. In 1929 the family had moved to Vesterbrogade 33-2. On Palm Sunday 1941 Kringelbach was confirmed in Christian's Church, Copenhagen while residing with the family at Torvegade 50-2. On 24 July 1948 in Godthaab Church, Copenhagen Kringelbach married Else Ida née Sørensen, residing as a journalist at Viborgvej 12, Horsens. Both his parents were deceased. Parish Register
A parish register in an ecclesiastical parish is a handwritten volume, normally kept in the parish church in which certain details of religious ceremonies marking major events such as baptisms (together with the dates and names of the parents), marriages (with the names of the partners), children, and burials (that had taken place within the parish) are recorded. Along with these vital details, church goods, the parish's response to briefs, and notes on various happenings in the parish were also recorded. These elaborate records existed for the purpose of preventing bigamy and consanguineous marriage. Sven Hassel was the pen name of the Danish-born Børge Willy Redsted Pedersen (19 April 1917 – 21 September 2012) known primarily for his novels focusing on stories of German combatants during World War II. In Denmark he used the pen name ''Sven Hazel''. He is arguably one of the bestselling Danish authors, possibly second only to Hans Christian Andersen. Early life Hassel was born in Nyhuse, Frederiksborg County, now a district of Hillerød, in Denmark on 19 April 1917; the first of seven children to miller Peder Oluf Pedersen and his 20-year-old wife Maren Hansine Andersen. DR P3 (referred to in Denmark simply as P3) is a Danish current-based hit music radio station operated by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. It is broadcast on FM radio, DAB, and Internet radio.
