George Faber (TV Producer)
George Stephen John Faber (born 30 November 1959 in Kensington, London) is a British television producer. He was the founder and joint managing director of Company Pictures, one of the UK's largest independent drama production companies, twice winner of Best Independent Production Company at the Broadcast Awards and also winner of Best European Production Company at the Monte Carlo TV Festival. ''The Village'' is a BBC television series written by Peter Moffat. The drama is set in a Derbyshire village in the early 20th century. Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast).
