George D. Waller
George D. Waller (1883 – December 19, 1969) was an American architect from Tennessee who designed churches, schools, houses and courthouses, some of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Early life Waller was born in 1883 in Nashville, Tennessee. Career Waller began his architectural career supervising the design of Hume-Fogg High School in 1912. In 1922, he received the first "architect's license in the state of Tennessee." He also joined the American Institute of Architects and its Tennessee chapter. Waller designed various schools in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia. He also designed churches like the Belmont United Methodist Church, the Meridian Street United Methodist Church, and the Waverly Place United Methodist Church. Woodbury is a town in Cannon County, Tennessee, United States. Woodbury is part of the Nashville Metropolitan Statistical Area and is located southeast of downtown Nashville. The population of Woodbury was 2,680 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Cannon County. Cannon County Courthouse
The Cannon County Courthouse located at Court Square in Woodbury, Tennessee, is an historic building and the center of county government in Cannon County. The building was constructed in 1935 to replace the county's 1838 courthouse, which burned in 1934. The courthouse is built in the Colonial Revival style. The architect was George Waller of Nashville. The courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 14, 1992. Spring Hill is a city in Maury and Williamson counties, Tennessee, located approximately south of Nashville. Spring Hill's population as of 2020 was 50,005.
