Georg Richter
Georg Lüddeckens Alexander Richter (27 December 1915 – 10 May 1972) was a German-born Norwegian actor. Personal life Richter was born in Berlin to German actor Georg Alexander and Norwegian actress Aud Egede-Nissen. His stepfather was the actor Paul Richter. He was a grandson of politician Adam Egede-Nissen and Goggi Egede-Nissen. His aunts included actresses Gerd Grieg, Ada Kramm, Gøril Havrevold, and Lill Egede-Nissen, and his uncles included actors Oscar Egede-Nissen and Stig Egede-Nissen. His first marriage was with actress Ingeborg Steffens, daughter of military officer William Steffens. His second marriage was to actress Bertha Smedsgaard. Aud Egede-Nissen
Aud Egede-Nissen (30 May 1893 – 15 November 1974) was a Norwegian actress, director and producer. She appeared in many early 20th-century German silent films. Early life Born in Bergen, Norway in 1893, Egede-Nissen was a daughter of Norwegian postmaster and politician Adam Hjalmar Egede-Nissen (1868–1953) and his wife Georga "Goggi" Wilhelma Ellertsen (1871–1959); she had ten siblings. Thorolf Beyer Mowinckel
Thorolf Beyer Mowinckel (27 August 1884 – 8 April 1963) was a Norwegian businessperson and politician for the Conservative Party. Personal life He was born in Bergen as a son of Johan Ernst Mowinckel (1860–1947) og Nanna Vibe Selmer Beyer. On the paternal side he was a nephew of Johanne Vogt and Agnes Mowinckel, and a first cousin of Edward Mowinckel-Larsen. In 1908 he married Jenny Modesta Fasmer (1887–1961). Through his wife, Thorolf Beyer Mowinckel was a brother-in-law of Hans Fasmer. The couple had the daughter Vibeke, who was married to Lauritz Falk and later Georg Richter. Career After middle school he attended commerce schools in London (1901) and Leipzig (1902). He worked at a trade office in Hamburg until 1905, and later entered his father's company, first as an apprentice, then as an employee. Ingeborg Steffens
Ingeborg Steffens (October 3, 1907 – April 27, 1982) was a Norwegian actress. Steffens was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. She was the daughter of Major General William Steffens (1880–1964) and Anette Eger (1884–1944). She was the first wife of the actor Georg Richter. Steffens was engaged at the Oslo New Theater from 1930 to 1947. Søilen Teater was a theatre that opened in Oslo in 1930. It was managed by Sophus Dahl until 1932. It was then a supporting stage for Chat Noir until 1934. From 1934 to 1939 the theatre was run by Henry Gleditsch, and from 1939 it was run by Aud Ricther. From 1942 it housed Leif Juster's stage Edderkoppen Theatre, and in 1945 it housed Studioteatret. Unn Goggi "Lill" Egede-Nissen (November 20, 1909 – January 20, 1962) was a Norwegian actress. She was married to the actor Hans Stormoen from 1943 to 1950, and she was the mother of the musician and philologist Hans Marius Stormoen. Egede-Nissen debuted at the National Theater in Bergen in 1932. She was engaged there until 1943, and she later performed at the Bjørnevik Theater and Trøndelag Theater. Egede-Nissen made her debut in the comedy ''Patsy''. Oscar Egede-Nissen
Oscar Egede-Nissen (March 7, 1903 – November 1, 1976) was a Norwegian actor. He appeared in dozens of films from his debut in 1936 onward, his last being '' An-Magritt'' in 1969. Egede-Nissen was an unruly child, and he was sent to the alternative Odenwald School in Germany. He came home and started high school, but soon left again, this time on a long trip to South America. He went whaling and spent time in Buenos Aires. He ended up as an illegal immigrant to the United States, where he became a professional soldier and flew to the Philippines. There he had a falling out with a lieutenant, and he was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. With the help of connections in Norway, including Prime Minister Johan Ludwig Mowinckel, he was pardoned after 14 months. When he returned to Norway this time, his own abilities—and the family's connections—in theater became decisive for his future. Stig Egede-Nissen (December 11, 1907 – October 4, 1988) was a Norwegian actor and naval officer. Biography Egede-Nissen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the son of Communist Party of Norway leader Adam Egede-Nissen and Goggi Egede-Nissen. He was the brother of the actors and actresses Aud Egede-Nissen, Gerd Grieg, Ada Kramm, Oscar Egede-Nissen, Lill Egede-Nissen, and Gøril Havrevold. He discontinued his studies in medicine and studied at the Norwegian Institute of Technology until 1935, before studying theater at the Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh from 1935 to 1938. Back in Trondheim, he made his debut at the Trøndelag Theater and then moved to Oslo, where he was at the Carl Johan Theater from 1940 to 1942.
