Geoffrey Carter (14 February 1943 – 19 March 2018) was an English professional footballer who played as a winger. Career Born in Northwich, Carter played for Moulton, West Bromwich Albion, Bury, Bradford City, Darlaston Town, Parkdale, and Greaves. He played for Bradford City between August 1967 and September 1967, making 1 appearance in the Football League. He died in March 2018, after suffering from leukemia Leukemia ( also spelled leukaemia and pronounced ) is a group of blood cancers that usually begin in the bone marrow and result in high numbers of abnormal blood cells. Sandwell is a metropolitan borough of the West Midlands county in England. The borough is named after the Sandwell Priory, and spans a densely populated part of the West Midlands conurbation. Darlaston is an industrial town in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall in the West Midlands of England. It is located near Wednesbury and Willenhall. Topography Darlaston is situated between Wednesbury and Walsall in the valley of the River Tame in the angle where the three major head-streams of the river converge. Leukemia ( also spelled leukaemia and pronounced ) is a group of blood cancers that usually begin in the bone marrow and result in high numbers of abnormal blood cells.
