Geoff Prosser
Geoffrey Daniel Prosser (born 6 November 1948) is an Australian businessman and former politician. He served in the Australian House of Representatives, House of Representatives from 1987 to 2007, representing the Liberal Party of Australia, Liberal Party, and was Minister for Small Business (Australia), Minister for Small Business and Consumer Affairs in the Howard Government from 1996 to 1997. Early life Prosser was born in Bunbury, Western Australia, and was a self-employed businessman and company director before entering politics. He was a member of the City of Bunbury, Bunbury City Council 1979–85. Federal Parliament Prosser was a member of the Opposition Shadow Ministry from 1990 to 1996. The 2007 Australian federal election was held in Australia on 24 November 2007. All 150 seats in the House of Representatives and 40 of the seats in the 76-member Senate were up for election. The election featured a 39-day campaign, with 13.6 million Australians enrolled to vote. Julian Fletcher Grill (born 15 May 1940) is an Australian former politician. Grill was a member of the Parliament of Western Australia between 1977 and 2001. Early life and education Grill was born in Sydney, New South Wales and was brought up in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Collie, Western Australia, and Subiaco, Western Australia. Brian Burke (Australian Politician)
Brian Thomas Burke (born 25 February 1947) is an Australian former politician who was the 23rd premier of Western Australia from 25 February 1983 to his resignation on 25 February 1988. He was a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 30 March 1973 to 25 February 1988, representing the electoral districts of Balga and Balcatta at various points, and was the leader of the Australian Labor Party in Western Australia from 18 September 1981 to 25 February 1988. Burke studied law at the University of Western Australia for one year before dropping out.
