Geoff Grover
Geoffrey David "Geoff" Grover (19 September 1943 – 12 April 2017), was a former Australian rules footballer who played for two seasons with the Caulfield Grammarians Football Club in the Victorian Amateur Football Association, and was a business and marketing expert, who finished his career working in real estate on the Queensland Sunshine Coast. He played two senior games for the St Kilda Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL), and two seasons with the St Kilda Reserves (including a Grand Final at the MCG in front of more than 100,000 people). He played 119 senior games for the Port Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), including the 1967 Grand Final against Dandenong Football Club. He represented the VFA at the 1966 Australian National Football Carnival in Hobart, the last time that a VFA team took part in any ANFC carnival. Caulfield Grammarians Football Club
Caulfield Grammarians Football Club, is an Australian rules football club based in Caulfield East, Victoria. The club, composed of Caulfield Grammar School alumni is, along with Old Melburnians, the (equal) second oldest consecutively competing team in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) (the oldest being Collegians). The team entered the competition in 1920, and has competed continuously since that time (competition was suspended from 1940 to 1945 during World War II). In 2020, the club’s centenary year, all 6 teams will be playing in their respective A Grades. Their home ground is the Glenhuntly Oval, at the corner of Neerim Road and Booran Road. John Schultz (footballer Born 1938)
John Schultz (born 28 September 1938) is a former Australian rules footballer who represented in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He had been a champion high-jumper at Caulfield Grammar School, winning the senior high jump at the 1955 Associated Grammar Schools Combined Athletics Meeting (as had South Melbourne's Jim Taylor in 1948). He also played for the school's First XVIII, a team which also contained other future VFL players, Ron Evans of Essendon and Ron Cabble of Hawthorn. Kenmore is a riverside suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In the , Kenmore had a population of 9,675 people. Geography Kenmore is on the Brisbane River by road south-west of the Brisbane GPO. The All-Australian team is an all-star team of Australian rules football in Australia, Australian rules footballers, selected by a panel at the end of each season. Geoff Kingston
Geoff Kingston is a former Australian rules footballer who played for West Torrens in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). He was inducted into the South Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2008. Born in Melbourne but raised in Wagga Wagga, Kingston played one season for Turvey Park in the South West Football League (New South Wales) and kicked over 100 goals before playing with West Torrens. Kingston had an injury riddled but decorated career. He was used mostly at full-forward and in 1961, his second season, kicked 79 goals to top the league's goalkicking. Ken Fraser
Ken Fraser (born 17 February 1940) is a former Australian rules footballer in the (then) Victorian Football League (VFL). Originally recruited from the Essendon Baptists St John's club (which has since merged with Ascot Vale Presbyterians to become the Tullamarine Football Club) in the Essendon District Football League, Fraser mainly played at centre half-forward. He won the Essendon Football Club's Best First-Year Player award in 1958 and went on to play in two premiership teams, with the second premiership as captain. He also won two club best-and-fairest awards and represented Victoria on many occasions. In 2001, Fraser was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame. Ted Whitten
Edward James Whitten Sr. OAM (27 July 1933 – 17 August 1995) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Footscray Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Born and raised into a working-class family in Footscray, Whitten debuted for the Bulldogs in 1951, quickly becoming one of the league's best key position players, either at centre half-forward or centre half-back. In 1954 he won his first of five club best and fairest awards and earned a spot in the All-Australian team, the same year that Footscray won its first VFL/AFL premiership. Appointed as captain-coach in 1957, he developed a successful but controversial game plan centred around the since-outlawed flick pass, and in 1961 led the club to its second grand final appearance, losing to Hawthorn. Peter Hudson
Peter John Hudson AM (born 19 February 1946) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and for the New Norfolk Football Club and Glenorchy Football Club in the Tasmanian Australian National Football League (TANFL). A legend in the Australian Football Hall of Fame, Hudson is considered one of the greatest full-forwards in the game's history.
