Geny Lopez
Eugenio "Geny" Moreno Lopez Jr. (November 4, 1928 – June 28, 1999) was the chairman emeritus of ABS-CBN Corporation from 1997 to 1999. He was known within the Lopez Group of Companies as "''Kapitán''" (Filipino for "Captain"). His great-grandfather Eugenio J. Lopez (1839–1906) was known as "''Kapitán'' Eugenio" ("Captain Eugenio") during his time. Early life He was born as Eugenio Moreno Lopez in 1928 in Iloilo City. His parents were Eugenio Lopez Sr. and Pacita Moreno. He was a nephew of former Philippine Vice President Fernando Lopez. He was educated at San Beda College, the Ateneo de Manila, Virginia Military Institute where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, and Harvard University where he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. ABS-CBN Corporation is a Filipino media company based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the largest entertainment and media conglomerate in the Philippines. ''Eskapo'' is a 1995 Filipino historical thriller film directed by Chito S. Roño and written by Roy Iglesias and Jose Lacaba. The ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center (also called ABS-CBN Broadcast Center; formerly known as Broadcast Plaza from 1974 to 1979 and current edifice formerly spelled officially as ABS-CBN Broadcasting Centre) in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines is the oldest broadcast headquarters of ABS-CBN. Millennium Transmitter
The Millennium Transmitter is a tall mast owned by ABS-CBN Corporation and operated by Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) located at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, Mother Ignacia Street corner Sgt. Esguerra Avenue, Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City. Since September 2022, the transmitter is being used by AMBS to serve as the platform for television transmission of All TV on analog Channel 2 and digital Channel 16 (frequencies formerly used by ABS-CBN itself as its flagship station DWWX-TV and transmits from this tower before it ceased broadcast operations in 2020).
