Genki Yamamoto
is a Japanese professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team . Career Yamamoto won the third stage of the Tour de Hokkaido twice while still a student at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Kanoya, first in 2010 and again in 2013. He won the Under-23 Japanese National Road Race Championships twice in a row in 2010 and 2011. He joined in 2014 and stayed on as it became a Professional Continental team starting in the 2015 season. He was named in the start list for the 2016 Giro d'Italia. He transferred to the for the 2017 season. 2015 Scheldeprijs
The 2015 Scheldeprijs was the 103rd edition of the Scheldeprijs cycling classic. It took place on 8 April, starting in Antwerp and ending in Schoten. The race was rated as a 1.HC event and was part of the 2015 UCI Europe Tour. The is an annual professional road bicycle racing Classic cycle races, classic one-day race held in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It was first started in 1989 as an amateur race, but became professional in 1999. It became part of the UCI Asia Tour in 2005. Until 2007, it was a one-day race, billing itself as the longest single-day course in Japan, but was transformed into a two-day stage race in 2008, its Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI category changing from 1.2 to 2.2. In 2008, the first day was a criterium, but from 2009, it was changed to a time trial run on the streets of Nago. The 2010 edition extended the second stage to 210 kilometers. The Oita Urban Classic is a one-day road cycling race held on the street circuit around the Oita Stadium on Kyushu Island, Japan. It is sanctioned by UCI as a category 1.2 race of UCI Asia Tour since 2018. The Oita Ikoinomichi Criterium is held on the day before the Oita Urban Classic.
