Generika-Ayala Lifesavers
The Generika Ayala Lifesavers are a professional women's volleyball team owned by Actimed, Inc. (Generika Drugstore) in partnership with Ayala Corporation. History Generika Drugstore first became involved in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) when it sponsored the Philippine Army Lady Troopers during the 2014 All-Filipino Conference, playing as the "Generika-Army Lady Troopers". For the following conference, the company formed its own team composed of the coaching staff and most of the players from the disbanded AirAsia Flying Spikers. The franchise did not participate during the 2015 season and remnants of the team went on to form the nucleus of the Shopinas.com Lady Clickers. The company reactivated its PSL participation during the 2016 All-Filipino Conference with a new lineup. Rhea Dimaculangan
Rhea Katrina Karla Dimaculangan (born March 21, 1991) is a Filipino professional indoor volleyball athlete, and a former member of the Philippines women national volleyball team and the club Petron Tri-Activ Spikers. Dimaculangan played setter for and was a former captain of the UST Golden Tigresses. Personal life Dimaculangan was born in a family of five siblings in Batangas. She is the younger sister of Ray Karl Dimaculangan, also a volleyball player and used to play as a setter for the men's volleyball team of the UST Golden Tigers. Career Beginnings Dimaculangan started her career in volleyball early in her elementary days in De La Salle Lipa. She was originally a hitter for her team, and only transitioned into her current position in 5th grade. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. 2018 PSL Grand Prix Conference
The 2018 Chooks-To-Go PSL Grand Prix Conference was the first conference and first indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. The games commenced February 17, 2018 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig and the formal opening ceremony was held on February 24, 2018 at the Santa Rosa Multipurpose Complex in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The tournament was moved from October to February in order to align with the new competition calendar approved by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). 2018 PSL Invitational Cup
The 2018 Chooks-to-Go PSL Invitational Cup was the third conference and second indoor volleyball tournament of the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. The tournament commenced on June 23, 2018 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. As with the 2017 Invitational, the tournament used an all-to-play format to give playing time for every player in each team. Kathleen Faith Pepito Arado (born May 22, 1998) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was a member of the UE Lady Warriors in the UAAP. She was named the UAAP Season 77 Rookie of the Year alongside Ennajie Laure. She also bagged the Best Libero award in the 2016 South East Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championships in Sisaket, Thailand. Career Arado is a member of the Under-19 Philippines women's national volleyball team in 2016 which competed in the 2016 Asian Women's U19 Volleyball Championship. The team finished at 10th place defeating Australia, Hong Kong, Macau, and New Zealand. She was also the libero of the team which competed in the 2016 South East Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championships where the team finished at the fourth place. The ''Odes'' ( la, Carmina) are a collection in four books of Latin lyric poems by Horace. The Horatian ode format and style has been emulated since by other poets. Books 1 to 3 were published in 23 BC. A fourth book, consisting of 15 poems, was published in 13 BC. Christine Joy Soyud
Christine Joy Soyud (born December 27, 1995) is a Filipino volleyball player. She is currently playing as an Opposite Hitter for the Akari Chargers in the PVL. Career UAAP Soyud made her first game appearance with De La Salle Lady Spikers in the UAAP Season 78. Her team won the title after beating Ateneo in Game 3 of the best of three series. In 2017, she transferred in Adamson University and played for the Adamson Lady Falcons. She didn't play for the Adamson Lady Falcons in the UAAP Season 79 because she had to serve a one-year residency imposed by the University Athletic Association of the Philippines for transferring from a UAAP school (La Salle) to another (Adamson).
