Genea Harknessii
''Genea harknessii'' is a species of ''Genea'' truffle-like ascocarp fungi in the family Pyronemataceae. The species was described by Helen Gilkey in 1916. ''G. harknessii'' grows underground in forests, especially white oak forests, but also in conifer Conifers are a group of conifer cone, cone-bearing Spermatophyte, seed plants, a subset of gymnosperms. Fungi
A fungus ( : fungi or funguses) is any member of the group of eukaryotic organisms that includes microorganisms such as yeasts and molds, as well as the more familiar mushrooms.
