Gene Cantamessa
Gene Cantamessa (February 17, 1931 – November 8, 2011) was an American sound engineer. He won an Academy Award for Best Sound for his work on the 1982 Steven Spielberg film, '' E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial''. Cantamessa received six additional Academy Award nominations in the same category during his career. ''1941'' is a 1979 American comedy film directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale.
