Gemma Hasson
Gemma Hasson is a Northern Irish folk singer that recorded three studio albums from 1974 to 1978. Her first one, '' Introducing Ireland's Gemma Hasson'' was released in 1974 on Dolphin Records label and produced by Dónal Lunny. She then signed with EMI Records and launched two more album: '' Looking for the Morning'' in 1975 (produced by Leo O'Kelly) and '' I've Never Been to Me...'' in 1978. Dónal Lunny
Dónal Lunny (born 10 March 1947) is an Irish folk musician and producer. He plays left-handed guitar and bouzouki, as well as keyboards and bodhrán. As a founding member of popular bands Planxty, The Bothy Band, Moving Hearts, Coolfin, Mozaik, LAPD, and Usher's Island, he has been at the forefront of the renaissance of Irish traditional music for over five decades. Lunny is the brother of musician and producer Manus Lunny. He had a son, Shane, with singer-songwriter Sinéad O'Connor; Shane was found dead on 7 January 2022, aged 17. Early life Lunny was born on 10 March 1947 in Tullamore. His father Frank was from Enniskillen in County Fermanagh and his mother, Mary Rogers, came from Ranafast in The Rosses in County Donegal; they raised four boys and five girls. Leo O'Kelly
Leo O'Kelly (born 27 November 1949, Carlow, County Carlow, Ireland) is an Irish singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. He is mainly known as a member of the Irish folk duo Tír na nÓg. After the band broke up, he produced albums on Polydor and EMI labels for other Irish artists like '' Restless Nights'' in 1975 by Ray Dolan who wrote "Hey Friend" on the first Tír na nÓg LP. In 2000, Leo released his first solo album called ''Glare'', then ''Proto'' in 2003 which consists in a collection of songs that he recorded between 1975 and 2001 whose one is a cover with Mark Gilligan of Nick Drake's " Northern Sky" and another is a vocal improvisation by his son, Aaron O'Kelly, at the age of 1.
