Gelita AG is a manufacturer of gelatin and collagen peptides for the food, health and nutrition, pharmaceutical industries and for several technical applications. It is headquartered in Eberbach, Germany. Founded in 1875, Gelita operates 21 production sites and 4 offices in North America, South America, Europe, South Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Eberbach (; South Franconian: ''Ewwerbach'') is a town in Germany, in northern Baden-Württemberg, located 33 km east of Heidelberg. It belongs to the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis. Hemostasis
In biology, hemostasis or haemostasis is a process to prevent and stop bleeding, meaning to keep blood within a damaged blood vessel (the opposite of hemostasis is hemorrhage).
