Geiselbach (river)
The Geiselbach is a right tributary of the Kahl (river), Kahl in the northern Spessart in Bavaria and Hesse, Germany. It is 5,2 km (3,2 mi) long and begins at the confluence of multiple headstreams in Geiselbach. The largest tributary is the Omersbach. It discharges near the Teufelsmühle (''"Devil's Watermill, Mill"''). The Geiselbach flows through the Teufelsgrund (''"Devil's Valley"'') to Hüttelngesäß and forms the border between Hesse and Bavaria. Near the village Mömbris, Brücken it empties into the Kahl (river), Kahl. Together with Westerbach (Kahl), Westerbach, Sommerkahl (Kahl), Sommerkahl and Reichenbach (Kahl), Reichenbach, the Geiselbach is one of the largest tributaries of the Kahl. Geiselbach
Geiselbach is a community in the Aschaffenburg district in the ''Regierungsbezirk'' of Lower Franconia (''Unterfranken'') in Bavaria, Germany. Geography Location Geiselbach lies on the Hesse-Bavaria boundary, 20 km north of Aschaffenburg and 50 km east of Frankfurt am Main. Elevations in the community reach from 272 m above sea level at the church up to 381 m at the Ziegelberg. The municipal area comprises 535 ha in the constituent community of Geiselbach and 415 ha in the constituent community of Omersbach. Kahl (river)
The Kahl is a river in the northern Spessart in Bavaria and Hesse, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Main (river), Main and is long. The name Kahl comes from the Old High German word ''kaldaha'', which means cool and clear. Spessart
Spessart is a ''Mittelgebirge'', a range of low wooded mountains, in the States of Bavaria and Hesse in Germany. It is bordered by the Vogelsberg, Rhön and Odenwald. The highest elevation is the Geiersberg at 586 metres above sea level. Etymology The name is derived from "Spechtshardt". ''Specht'' is the German word for woodpecker and ''Hardt'' is an outdated word meaning "hilly forest". Mömbris is a community – since 31 January 1964 a market community – in the Aschaffenburg district in the ''Regierungsbezirk'' of Lower Franconia (''Unterfranken'') in Bavaria, Germany. The Westerbach is a right tributary of the Kahl in the northern Spessart in Lower Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. It is long (7.2 km including Querbach) and begins at the confluence of Querbach and Huckelheimer Bach in Westerngrund. The Querbach rises in the ''Arzborn'', a small opening in the mountainside on the ''Hoher Querberg'', northeast of Huckelheim, near the border between Hesse and Bavaria.
