Jan Stoeckart
Jan Stoeckart (3 November 1927 – 13 January 2017) was a Dutch composer, conductor, trombonist and former radio producer, who often worked under various pseudonyms such as Willy Faust, Peter Milray, Julius Steffaro and Jack Trombey. In the UK he is best known for his composition ''Eye Level'', the theme tune to the ITV series ''Van der Valk'', which was a number one on the UK singles chart in 1973. He also composed "Homeward Bound", a theme from the film ''Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)'', under the pseudonym Jack Trombey. Life and works Stoeckart was born in Amsterdam. He took piano and trombone lessons from the age of 12. Hans Boskamp, born Johannes Hendricus Gerardus Hölscher, (7 May 1932 – 21 March 2011) was a Dutch footballer and actor. Football career Club Rotterdam-born Hölscher moved with his family to Amsterdam at 10 years of age and joined Ajax under his father's stage name Boskamp. He played his first match for the club on 26 March 1950 and his final one on 27 May 1954. He then became a professional with BVC Amsterdam and played his final seasons for DWS. International Boskamp made his debut for the Netherlands in a September 1952 friendly match against Denmark and earned a total of four caps, scoring no goals. Johannes Cornelius Bluming (6 February 1933 – 17 December 2018) was a Dutch martial artist, instructor and actor. Known as a pioneer in variety of martial arts, Bluming held 9th dan in Judo, 10th dan in Karate and 10th dan in Hapkido. He was also the coach of two-time Olympic champion Willem Ruska. Career Early life and training Born in Amsterdam, he was 13 when he started to train in Boxing, but three years later he applied for the Marines to escape poverty and was accepted to the bootcamp in Doorn in July 1949. During the break out of the Korean War in 1950, Bluming was sent to Korea as part of the van Heutz regiment. He received several decorations and was wounded twice, having to be moved to Tokyo to recover. It was there where he came in contact with Asian martial arts, witnessing a Judo exhibition by Kyuzo Mifune at the Kodokan school in March 1953. Marielle Franco (; born Marielle Francisco da Silva, 27 July 1979 – 14 March 2018) was a Brazilian politician, sociologist, feminist, socialist and human rights activist.
