Gideon Lekumok Ngatuny (born 10 October 1986) is a Kenyan long-distance runner. At the 2007 World Cross Country Championships he finished fourth in the senior race, while the Kenyan team of which Ngatuny was a part won the team competition. Ngatuny won the 2008 Kenyan World Cross trials, and at the 2008 World Cross Country Championships he finished seventh individually and won another team gold medal. He won the 2009 Sapporo Half Marathon title with a time of 1:00:39. He is from Kilgoris, but trains at the Gusii Stadium located in Kisii. Stone sculptor Gedion Nyanhongo was born into an artistic family on 22 December 1967 in Nyanga, Zimbabwe. He was influenced from a young age by his father, Claud Nyanhongo, a prominent artist among the "first generation" sculptors (the pioneers of the Shona Sculpture movement that began in the late 1950s). Gedion Zelalem (born January 26, 1997) is a professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for FC Den Bosch. Born in Germany, he represented the United States national under-23 team. After playing for various youth teams in Germany and the United States, Zelalem initially played with Arsenal's youth squads after joining the team in early 2013, and made his senior squad debut for Arsenal in an FA Cup match in January 2014. Internationally, Zelalem made appearances for Germany's under-15 team, under-16 team and under-17 team during 2012 and 2013. He became a U.S. citizen on December 2, 2014, and FIFA subsequently approved his eligibility to play for the United States on May 13, 2015.
