Gedelek is a small village in the Marmara Region of Turkey and Orhangazi district of Bursa Province. Marmara Region
The Marmara Region ( Turkish: ''Marmara Bölgesi'') is a geographical region of Turkey. Located in northwestern Turkey, it is bordered by Greece and the Aegean Sea to the west, Bulgaria and the Black Sea to the north, the Black Sea Region to the east, and the Aegean Region to the south. At the center of the region is the Sea of Marmara, which gives the region its name. The largest city in the region is Istanbul. Other big cities are Bursa, İzmit, Balıkesir, Tekirdağ, Çanakkale and Edirne. Among the seven geographical regions, the Marmara Region has the second-smallest area, yet the largest population; it is the most densely populated region in the country. Orhangazi
Orhangazi is a rural district of Bursa Province in Turkey. The region Orhangazi was established in was conquered by Orhan I of the Ottoman dynasty in 1326. Orhangazi is named after Orhan I who was the second sultan of the Ottoman Empire. * Olive production is a major part of the economy. * The archeological digs of Ilıpınar Hoyuk are in the region of Orhangazi, and can be visited. * Orhangazi is located near the lake Iznik and near the Sea of Marmara Orhangazi has a number of villages around it, there is a local bus garage to take visitors to them. One of the villages, Keramet, has a natural hot springs. Main roads leading to the villages have olive fields on both sides. The population of the city is 80,000 while its surrounding villages and towns make up a total of 85,000 for the Orhangazi district. Bursa Province
Bursa Province ( tr, ) is a province in Turkey along the Sea of Marmara coast in northwestern Anatolia. It borders Balıkesir to the west, Kütahya to the south, Bilecik and Sakarya to the east, Kocaeli to the northeast and Yalova to the north. The province has an area of 11,043 km2 and a population of 3,139,744 as of 2021. Its traffic code is 16. The vast majority of the Bursa Province districts (and the city of Bursa) are located within the Marmara Region, but the districts of Büyükorhan, Harmancık, Keles and Orhaneli are located within the Aegean Region. The city of Bursa was the capital of the Ottoman State between 1326 and 1365, until the Ottoman conquest of Edirne, then known as Adrianople, which became the new Ottoman capital between 1365 and 1453, when Constantinople became the final Ottoman capital.
