Buck Jones (born Charles Frederick Gebhart; December 12, 1891 – November 30, 1942) was an American actor, known for his work in many popular Western movies. In his early film appearances, he was credited as Charles Jones. Early life, military service Jones was born Charles Frederick Gebhart on the outskirts of Vincennes, Indiana, on December 12, 1891—some sources indicate December 4, 1889, but his marriage license and military records confirm the 1891 date. In 1907 he joined the United States Army a month after his 16th birthday: his mother had signed a consent form that gave his age as 18. He was assigned to Troop G, 6th Cavalry Regiment, and was deployed to the Philippines in October 1907, where he served in combat and was wounded during the Moro Rebellion. Émile Gebhart (19 July 1839, Nancy, Meurthe-et-Moselle – 22 April 1908, Paris) was a French academic and writer, He was elected to the Académie Française (fauteuil 34) in 1905. Timo Martin Gebhart (born 12 April 1989) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career In January 2009, Gebhart transferred from 2. Bundesliga side 1860 Munich to join Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart. He signed a contract until 30 June 2013. In July 2012, he moved to 1. FC Nürnberg. In January 2016, Gebhart moved to Steaua București. At the end of the 2016–17 season, Hansa Rostock and Gebhart did not agree on a contract extension. Gebhart returned to his former club 1860 Munich for the 2017–18 season. Thomas Gebhart (born 20 December 1971) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate since 2009. Gebhart Tavern, also known as the Daniel Gebhart Tavern Museum, is a small museum located in Miamisburg, Ohio, United States. It is a popular attraction in Miamisburg and is currently being run by the Miamisburg Historical Society. History The building was first opened as a frontier tavern in 1811 by Daniel Gebhart. The tavern served as a popular travel destination in the 19th century.
