Gbenga Ogunniya
Gbenga Ogunniya (born September 1949) was elected Senator for the Ondo Central constituency of Ondo State, Nigeria on the Alliance for Democracy (AD) platform, taking office on 29 May 1999. Switching parties, he was reelected in 2003 and 2007 on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform. Educational Background and Career Ogunniya earned a BSc in Political Science from Howard University, Washington D.C. and made a career in Marine Transportation. Elected to the Senate in 1999 and reelected in 2003 and 2007, he was appointed to committees on Senate Services, Police Affairs (Chairman), Niger Delta and Banking, Insurance & Other Financial Institutions. Akinyelure Patrick Ayo
Patrick Ayo Akinyelure is a Nigerian banker who was elected to the Nigerian Senate for the Ondo Central district in Ondo State in the 9 April 2011 elections running on the Labour Party ticket (he was subsequently re-elected to the same position). Ayo is an approved tax practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He was Group Executive Chairman of the Allover Group, a microfinance lender, from 1994 to 2010. In January 2011 he denied that officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had investigated him over the withdrawal of the bank's licence by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
