The 2001 African Cup Winners' Cup was the twenty-seventh season of Africa's second oldest club football tournament organised by CAF. Two-legged Tie
In sports (particularly association football), a two-legged tie is a contest between two teams which comprises two matches or "legs", with each team as the home team in one leg. The winning team is usually determined by aggregate score, the sum of the scores of the two legs. The Chad Cup is the top knockout tournament of the Chad football. The winner competes in the CAF Confederation Cup the following season. History The first competition began in 1973. The first part of the cup was delayed due to the Chadian Civil War that took place. The later part up to 1988 and from 2002 to 2003 were no held due to financial problems. 2015 LINAFOOT (Chad)
The 2015 LINAFOOT was the inaugural season of the LINAFOOT, the top Chadian league for association football clubs. The season was supposed to run from February to August, with teams playing 22 matches each (playing each team in the league twice, home and away) totalling 132 matches in the season. However, due financial difficulties, championship was interrupted after 15 rounds and later resumed, finishing on 24 December 2015. Gazelle won their third title. The 2009 Première Division was the Chad Premier League season, the top Chadian league for association football clubs, for 2008/09. Elect-Sport came into the season as defending champions of the 2008 season. Gazelle won the National Championship title after beating Renaissance (Abéché) 3-1 in the final. Mahamat Idriss (ne ''Koundja Ouya'', 17 July 1942 – 3 October 1987) was a Chadian high jumper. He was born in Fort-Lamy, Chad, French Equatorial Africa. Career Before the Chadian independency on 11 August 1960 he competed for France, winning the French national championships in 1960 and 1961.
