Gaytime TV
''Gaytime TV'' is a late night gay themed comedy and lifestyle magazine programme and broadcast on BBC 2 in the United Kingdom. It was the first regular BBC television programme to directly address the gay and lesbian community, and won praise from the ''Daily Mail'' in May 1996 for its "lightness of touch that other minority interest magazines would do well to emulate". The series was first hosted by Rhona Cameron, and Bert Tyler-Moore, with Richard Fairbrass later replacing Tyler-Moore. The first programme was broadcast on 29 June 1995, and was last broadcast on 27 July 1999. It was a Planet 24 production. Rhona Cameron
Rhona Cameron (born 27 September 1965) is a Scottish comedian, writer and TV presenter. She rose to prominence via the stand-up comedy circuit, and was a regular on British television in the 1990s. Television career In 1992, she won ''So You Think You're Funny''. She presented the ITV game show ''Russian Roulette'' and the BBC Two show '' Gaytime TV''. Cameron co-wrote '' Rhona'' with her former partner Linda Gibson. Stereophonic sound, or more commonly stereo, is a method of sound reproduction that recreates a multi-directional, 3-dimensional audible perspective. Lifestyle is the interests, opinions, behaviours, and behavioural orientations of an individual, group, or culture. The term was introduced by Austrian psychologist Alfred Adler in his 1929 book, ''The Case of Miss R.'', with the meaning of "a person's basic character as established early in childhood". Planet 24 is a television production company, which produced ''The Big Breakfast'' and '' The Word'' for Channel 4. It had an animation division called Impossible TV, founded in 1997.
