Gayby
''Gayby'' is a 2012 American romantic comedy-drama film directed by Jonathan Lisecki and starring Jenn Harris, Matthew Wilkas, Mike Doyle, Anna Margaret Hollyman, Jack Ferver and Jonathan Lisecki. It is based on the 2010 short film of the same name. It debuted on March 12, 2012 at the South by Southwest film festival. Plot Jenn (Jenn Harris), a yoga instructor, and Matt (Matthew Wilkas), a comic book store worker, are best friends from college who are now single and in their 30s. In accordance with a pact they made in their youth, the two decide to have a baby ("gayby") together, though Jenn is straight and Matt is gay. Jenn's grandmother created a trust fund for her that she will be able to access if she has a child, so Jenn is confident that she and Matt will have the finances to care for it. Matthew Wilkas
Matthew Wilkas (born April 20, 1978) is an American New York based theatre and film actor, playwright and reality television personality. He is best known for his lead role as Matt in the 2012 feature film '' Gayby''. Early life He grew up in Camden, Maine, with his two sisters. When he was 12, his father died. He later went to Boston University on the theater program because they gave him a student-aid package. He later moved to Hartford, Connecticut, before moving to New York. Jack Ferver (born 1979) is an American dancer, choreographer, actor, and professor. They are known for their dance-theatre shows that examine trauma, otherness, and queerness, as well as for their portrayal of a character known as the Little Lad in a 2007 Berries and Cream Starburst (candy), Starburst commercial. Upon graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy, Ferver moved to New York City and appeared in their first film role in ''Outside Providence (film), Outside Providence'' (1999). Merlinka Festival
The International Queer Film Festival Merlinka or Merlinka Festival is an annual LGBT-themed film festival which is annually organized in Belgrade (since 2009), Sarajevo (since 2013) and Podgorica (since 2014). The Belgrade edition is organized in the Belgrade Youth Center during the second week of December, and it lasts for five days. The Sarajevo and Podgorica editions are organized in January and February of each year, with the former being organized in the Art Cinema Kriterion, and the latter being organized in the PR Centre.
