Chris Gavina
Christian Gavina (born January 27, 1979) is a Filipino professional basketball coach. He served as the head coach of the Taichung Suns in the T1 League. Early life and college career Gavina was born in the Philippines and migrated to Jersey City, New Jersey when he was three years old. He played college basketball for the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. He finished second in all-time scoring for the school and have his jersey number retired after his graduation in 2001. After graduation, he worked as a formulation chemist for L'Oreal from 2004 to 2008 and then moved back to the Philippines to pursue a career in basketball. He first played for the Quezon Red Oilers and the Mandaue-Cebu Landmasters of the defunct Liga Pilipinas. Coaching career After his contract expired with Mandaue, he returned to the United States and earned a strength and conditioning coach certification at the Institute of Sports and Science. Francisco Gaviña Ribelles (Valencia, Spain Valencia ( va, València) is the capital of the autonomous community of Valencia and the third-most populated municipality in Spain, with 791,413 inhabitants. Nuno Manuel Gavina do Couto (; born November 20, 1969) is a Portuguese radio voice, producer, and owner of OR2 Web Productions (based legally in Høvik, Norway). Gavina do Couto developed a network composed by 21 Online Systems which broadcasts audio and visual streams, known as OR2 Multimedia Streams. He also contributes to several online communities as an author and producer. Early life Gavina do Couto grew up in Sintra, Portugal, with his family. He was raised Roman Catholic, yet is now member of the Church of Norway. He studied electrical engineering in a school near Lisbon. Radio Between 1985 and 1989, Gavina do Couto was responsible for the production and development of several radio programs on Portuguese local radio stations. Gaviña Gourmet Coffee (also F. Gaviña & Sons Inc) is a coffee importer and roaster located in Vernon, California. It produces the Don Francisco's Coffee, Gaviña and La Llave coffee brands, as well as private label (own brand) coffees. History The company was founded by brothers José María and Ramón Gaviña, who emigrated from Spain to Cuba in 1870 and operated their own coffee plantation in the city of Trinidad. In the 1930s, the company's business expanded to include coffee roasting as well as coffee growing. In 1959, the family left Cuba, establishing F. Gaviña & Sons Inc in Vernon eight years later.
