Gavin McGowan
Gavin McGowan (born 16 January 1976 in Blackheath, London, Blackheath, England) is an English retired professional Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender. McGowan featured for Arsenal F.C., Arsenal in the Premier League and for Luton Town F.C., Luton Town in the Football League Second Division. Career McGowan joined Arsenal's youth team in 1992 at the age of 16. In 1994, he won the FA Youth Cup with Arsenal when they beat Millwall F.C., Millwall 5–3 in the final. He only played one game against Crystal Palace F.C., Crystal Palace as Arsenal won the 1997-98 FA Premier League, meaning he did not qualify for a winners' medal. In all McGowan made seven appearances for Arsenal with six caps coming in the Premier League, and one in the FA Cup for the London side. Blackheath, London
Blackheath is an area in Southeast London, straddling the border of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the London Borough of Lewisham. It is located northeast of Lewisham, south of Greenwich and southeast of Charing Cross, the traditional centre of London. The area southwest of its station and in its ward is named Lee Park. Its northern neighbourhood of Vanbrugh Park is also known as St John's Blackheath and despite forming a projection has amenities beyond its traditional reach named after the heath. Joe Kinnear
Joseph Patrick Kinnear (born 27 December 1946) is an Irish former football manager and player. Kinnear played as a defender, spending the majority of his career—ten seasons—with Tottenham Hotspur. With Tottenham he won the FA Cup, the EFL Cup twice, the FA Community Shield and the UEFA Cup. Kinnear was born in Dublin, moving to Watford, England at the age of seven. He was capped 26 times for the Republic of Ireland national football team. Following the end of his playing career he has also been the manager of India, Nepal, Doncaster Rovers, Wimbledon, Luton Town, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United. Overview Premier League Manchester United were crowned FA Premier League champions with an 18-point margin over runners-up Arsenal and with just 3 league defeats all season.
