Gavin Cooper (born 19 August 1985) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a for the North Queensland Cowboys, Gold Coast Titans and Penrith Panthers in the NRL. He started in the second row in the Cowboys' 2015 NRL Grand Final and 2016 World Club Challenge winning sides. Cooper played for Prime Minister's XIII, Queensland in the State of Origin series and the World All Stars side, and played as a earlier in his career. 2014 Auckland Nines
The 2014 NRL Auckland Nines (known as the Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines due to sponsorship) was the first NRL Auckland Nines tournament, contested between all sixteen teams of the National Rugby League. The draw was released on 30 October 2014. It was a two-day, nine-a-side, knockout tournament held at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand. James Tamou
James Tamou (born 13 December 1988) is an Australia international professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League. He previously played for the North Queensland Cowboys and was a member of their 2015 NRL Grand Final winning side, the Penrith Panthers where he captained them to the 2020 NRL Grand Final, and the Wests Tigers where he also captained. The 2011 NRL season was the 104th season of professional rugby league football club competition in Australia, and the fourteenth and last run by the National Rugby League's partnership committee of the Australian Rugby League and News Ltd. The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The team colours are maroon and white, while their namesake and logo is the sea eagle. They compete in Australia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL). 2006 NRL Season
The 2006 NRL season was the 99th season of professional rugby league football in Australia and the ninth run by the National Rugby League. The lineup of teams remained unchanged from the previous year, with fifteen clubs competing for the 2006 Telstra Premiership. Throughout the 26 rounds of the regular season ten teams from New South Wales (9 of them from the Sydney basin), two from Queensland and one each from Victoria (Australia), Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, ACT and New Zealand competed for the minor premiership.
