Frédérik Gauthier
Frédérik Gauthier (born April 26, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey Centre (ice hockey), centre currently under contract with HC Ajoie of the National League (ice hockey), National League (NL). Gauthier was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round, 21st overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft after spending three years with the Rimouski Océanic in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Gauthier became a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization following the 2014–15 QMJHL season, 2014–15 season. During his developmental years with the Maple Leafs American Hockey League affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, he helped them clinch their first Calder Cup in franchise history. Claude Gauthier (born January 31, 1939, in Lac-Saguay, Quebec, Canada) is a Quebec singer-songwriter and actor. Biography Early years Gauthier grew up in a family that enjoyed and performed music. His father sang Sundays in the Catholic Mass and his mother played piano. Listening to the classic French singers of the time on radio, such as Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet, inspired him as well. But his musical revelation came when he heard Félix Leclerc for the first time on the radio. From then on, he wanted to make music and, like Leclerc, sing simple, direct songs about everyday life. In 1954 Gauthier moved to Montreal where he worked for three years in the warehouse of the record dealer Édouard Archambault. After that he worked as a wilderness guide. All during this time he wrote songs and he was soon rewarded for his efforts. Jacques Armand Gauthier (born June 7, 1948 in New York City) is an American vertebrate paleontologist, comparative morphologist, and systematist, and one of the founders of the use of cladistics in biology. Life and career Gauthier is the son of Edward Paul Gauthier and Patricia Marie Grogan. He received a B.S. degree in Zoology at San Diego State University in 1973, a Masters of Biological Science at the same institute in 1980, and a PhD in Paleontology from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1984. Currently he is a Professor of Geology and Geophysics and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology and Vertebrate Zoology at Yale University. Albert Gauthier de Clagny (14 September 1853 – 16 December 1927) was a right-wing French politician during the period before World War I. He was a respected lawyer, a Bonapartist and an anti-Dreyfusard. Early years Albert Gauthier de Clagny was born on 14 September 1853 in Versailles, Seine-et-Oise. He joined the cavalry for his military service. He then spent some years among workers in the north, the Pyrenees and in Italy, where he worked in quarries of hard marble. He turned to the study of the law, earned his doctorate in 1882 and in 1883 became an advocate to the Council of State and the Court of Cassation. Eric Gauthier (dancer) (born 1977) is a Canadian-born dancer, choreographer and musician. After a soloist career at the Stuttgart Ballet he founded Gauthier Dance/ /Dance Company at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart in 2007. In 2011, he won the German Dance Prize Deutscher Tanzpreis. Daniel Gauthier
Daniel Gauthier (born May 17, 1970) is a Canadian former ice hockey centre. Gauthier was drafted 62nd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. He turned pro in 1990 in the International Hockey League with the Albany Choppers for one game before joining the ECHL's Knoxville Cherokees, scoring 41 goals and 93 assists for 134 points. In his rookie season Gauthier was named to the 1990–91 ECHL First All-Star Team and also won the John A. Daley Trophy as the ECHL's Rookie of the Year. He then had spells in the IHL for the Muskegon Lumberjacks and later the Cleveland Lumberjacks following their relocation. Cathy Gauthier
Cathy Gauthier ( Tardi; June 5, 1961 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian curler and broadcaster. Gauthier began curling in grade 9. She played juniors for one season with Connie Laliberte, losing in the Manitoba final one year. Gauthier joined back up with Laliberte in women's play, and was on her team for much of her career. Gauthier won two championships with Laliberte, in 1992 and 1995, and won the 2005 Scott Tournament of Hearts with Jennifer Jones, playing lead. Although she is one of the few women to win three championships on the national level, she has not won a world championship. She left the Jones team in May 2005 due to family commitments.
