Sir James Broadwood Lyall (4 March 1838 – 4 December 1916) was a British administrator in the Imperial Civil Service who served as Lieutenant Governor of the Punjab between 1887 and 1892. Background James Lyall was born on 4 March 1838. He was a son of Alfred Lyall and Mary Drummond. His elder brother was Alfred Comyn Lyall, and his paternal uncles included a Dean of Canterbury, William Rowe Lyall, and a chairman of the British East India Company, George Lyall. Ghantaghar
Ghantaghar (literally clock-tower) is a location in the center of Chandni Chowk, Delhi, where an iconic clock tower, termed Northbrook Clocktower during early 20th century, stood. The clock tower was built in 1870 and stood there until its partial collapse and subsequent demolition in 1950s. The term "Chandni Chowk" (translation: ''silvery or moonlit square'') originally referred to this location which later came to designate the entire street. The Ghantaghar location has been regarded as the center of Delhi, and even now serves as a center for major civic events. Today, it is an open and congested area. Faisalabad Railway Station
Faisalabad railway station ( ur, , pa, ) is located in Faisalabad city (formerly Lyallpur), Punjab province of Pakistan on the Khanewal-Wazirabad Branch Line. The station grants passengers from Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar and many more cities and towns of Pakistan access to all parts of Pakistan. The administrative office, headed by an Assistant Operation Officer, of the Faisalabad section of Pakistan Railways is also in the station building. Qaisery Gate (Rail Bazar)
The Qaisery Gate was the gate into the eight markets with the Faisalabad Clock Tower at the centre. It was built in 1897 under the commission of the British Raj in the then newly-emerging city of Faisalabad, Punjab. The entrance itself is made of reinforced concrete and painted pale yellow and light brown to give it a Mughal look.
