Gatorland
Gatorland is a theme park and wildlife preserve in Florida, located along South Orange Blossom Trail south of Orlando. It was founded by Owen Godwin on former cattle land in 1949, and is privately owned by his family. Billed as the "Alligator Capital of the World," Gatorland features thousands of alligators (including rare leucistic alligators) and crocodiles, and many other animals. Attractions in the park include a breeding marsh with a boardwalk and observation tower, zip lines, an off-road swamp vehicle tour, a ridable miniature railroad, alligator feeding shows, alligator wrestling shows, an aviary, a petting zoo, and educational programs. The breeding marsh area of the park was used in the filming of the 1984 movie ''Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom''. Green Meadows Petting Farm
Green Meadows Petting Farm is a farm animal learning center company. It was founded by Bob and Coni Keyes in Waterford, Wisconsin in 1964 as a petting farm. In 1988, they moved to Kissimmee, Florida and opened a second operation, notable for featuring a narrow gauge railroad for its guests. The locomotive on this railroad was the same model as the locomotive used on the Gatorland Express in nearby Gatorland. The Kissimmee location closed in January 2018. The Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a zoo and botanical garden located north of Orlando, Florida in Sanford. Central Florida is a region of the U.S. state of Florida.
