The Falcon (band)
The Falcon is an America, Chicago-based punk rock supergroup (bands), supergroup. The band features The Lawrence Arms members Brendan Kelly (musician), Brendan Kelly (guitar and vocals) and Neil Hennessy on Drum kit, drums, Alkaline Trio's Dan Andriano (vocals and bass guitar, bass) and The Loved Ones (American band), The Loved Ones’ Dave Hause (guitar and vocals). Red Scare Industries
Red Scare Industries (sometimes referred to as Red Scare Records) is a punk rock record label. The label was started in San Francisco (but moved to Chicago) by former Fat Wreck Chords employee Toby Jeg. Jeg started the label in 2004 when his friend Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms wanted a new label to release the EP for his new band The Falcon, it has since released material for bands such as The Lillingtons, Cobra Skulls, The Copyrights, Sundowner, Teenage Bottlerocket, and more. For 2010 and 2011, Red Scare albums by The Menzingers and The Sidekicks have been named album of the year by punknews.org. Unicornography
''Unicornography'' is the critically acclaimed debut album by the Chicago-based punk rock supergroup (bands), supergroup The Falcon (band), The Falcon which was released on September 26, 2006 in the United States. The album contains elements from modern rock (music), rock and punk, as well as reintroducing some of the ska flavour from Kelly and Andriano's previous band, Slapstick (band), Slapstick. The guitar on the album was supposed to be played by former guitarist of Rise Against, Todd Mohney. He was the guitarist on the EP but he could not attend the recording session for Unicornography due to other commitments. Band members Brendan Kelly (musician), Brendan Kelly and drummer Neil Hennessy took over Mohney's role on the album. A supergroup is a musical group whose members are successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband. Brendan Kelly (musician)
Brendan Kelly (born September 8, 1976) is the bassist/vocalist of Chicago-based punk band The Lawrence Arms, as well as guitarist/lead vocalist in The Falcon and Brendan Kelly and the Wandering Birds. Kelly's former bands include Slapstick and The Broadways. He is known for his raspy vocals, drunken demeanor, and onstage witticisms. Kelly appeared on ''The Daily Show'' in a correspondent piece by Ed Helms entitled "The Clash" in which he criticized Michale Graves for being a Republican. Early life and education He attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Radio, Television, and Film. Neil Hennessy
Neil Kevin Hennessy (born December 12, 1978) is a punk rock musician, music producer and engineer from Chicago, Illinois. Hennessy currently plays in The Lawrence Arms, Colossal, The Falcon, The Smoking Popes, The Treasure Fleet and Demon Beach. He has also been a member of Noise By Numbers, Baxter, The Killing Tree, Quattro and played multiple shows with Teenage Bottlerocket. In late 2015, Hennessy took over rhythm guitar duties in fellow Chicago punk band Rise Against during their European tour. Rise Against frontman and vocalist guitarist Tim McIlrath had broken his hand and was unable to play guitar, forcing him to singing exclusively. Dan Andriano
Daniel Michael Andriano (born June 27, 1977) is an American singer and musician. He is best known as the co-lead vocalist and bassist of the punk rock band Alkaline Trio, with whom he has recorded nine studio albums to date. Andriano also records solo material under the name Dan Andriano in the Emergency Room and has released two solo albums to date, '' Hurricane Season'' (2011) and ''Party Adjacent'' (2015). Since February 2019, he has played bass with the rock supergroup The Damned Things.
