Dan Andriano
Daniel Michael Andriano (born June 27, 1977) is an American singer and musician. He is best known as the co-lead vocalist and bassist of the punk rock band Alkaline Trio, with whom he has recorded nine studio albums to date. Andriano also records solo material under the name Dan Andriano in the Emergency Room and has released two solo albums to date, '' Hurricane Season'' (2011) and ''Party Adjacent'' (2015). Since February 2019, he has played bass with the rock supergroup The Damned Things. Early bands In 1993, he and several friends from the Elgin area formed the punk-ska band Slapstick, with Andriano playing bass and contributing backing vocals. Alkaline Trio
Alkaline Trio is an American punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Since 2001, the band has consisted of Matt Skiba (vocals, guitar), Dan Andriano (vocals, bass) and Derek Grant (drums, vocals). Founded in late 1996 by Skiba, bassist Rob Doran, and drummer Glenn Porter, Alkaline Trio released its debut single, "Sundials", in 1997. Following its release, Doran departed from the band and was replaced by Andriano. The band subsequently recorded an EP, ''For Your Lungs Only'' (1998), and its debut studio album, ''Goddamnit'' (1998). Following the release of the band's second album, '' Maybe I'll Catch Fire'' (2000), Porter left the band and was replaced by Mike Felumlee for its subsequent album, ''From Here to Infirmary'' (2001). ''Alkaline Trio'' is a compilation album by American rock band of the same name, released April 18, 2000 through Asian Man Records. It includes all of the tracks from their EPs '' For Your Lungs Only'' (1998) and '' I Lied My Face Off'' (1999), as well as both tracks from the "Sundials" single (1997) and several tracks from other compilations. Reception By August 2008, the album sold 85,000 copies. Ari Wiznitzer of Allmusic praised the compilation, comparing the songs' lyrics to those of Blake Schwarzenbach and saying that "What separates this record from most compilations of its kind is both consistency and excellent sequencing. This is the band's best batch of songs since ''Goddamnit'', and although taken from disparate sources, the record has the feel of a long-player." The Gaslight Anthem is an American rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, formed in 2006. The band consists of Brian Fallon (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Alex Rosamilia (lead guitar, backing vocals), Alex Levine (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Benny Horowitz (drums, percussion). Brian Fallon (born January 28, 1980) is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and main lyricist of the rock band the Gaslight Anthem, with whom he has recorded five studio albums. He is also a member of the duo the Horrible Crowes alongside the Gaslight Anthem's guitar technician and touring guitarist, Ian Perkins. Since 2016, Fallon has released four solo albums and one EP. The Loved Ones are an American punk band based out of Philadelphia. Founded in late 2003, the band consists of Dave Hause (lead vocals, guitar), David Walsh (guitar), Chris Gonzalez (bass/guitar), Michael Cotterman (bass) and Mike Sneeringer (drums). They are presently signed to Fat Wreck Chords. The band never officially disbanded. But in addition to members doing other projects, the band had little activity from 2010 through 2016, when they went on a ten-year anniversary tour. Dave Hause (born March 12, 1978) is an American singer-songwriter. He currently performs both solo and with his band The Mermaid. His music draws from heartland rock, folk rock and punk rock. He has also played in multiple Philadelphia, PA area punk and hardcore bands, including The Loved Ones and The Falcon. Charles Allen Ragan (born October 30, 1974) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is the guitarist and vocalist of the band Hot Water Music. Benjamin Foster (born 1968), also known as Ben Weasel, is an American musician, best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the punk rock band Screeching Weasel. Early life Foster was born in 1968, and was raised in Prospect Heights, Illinois. He attended River Trails Middle School in Mount Prospect, Illinois where he first met future Screeching Weasel co-founder John Pierson. Weasel was expelled from John Hersey High School and St. Viator High School. He was eventually sent to the Élan School in Poland, Maine for his behavior issues. ''Unicornography'' is the critically acclaimed debut album by the Chicago-based punk rock supergroup (bands), supergroup The Falcon (band), The Falcon which was released on September 26, 2006 in the United States. The album contains elements from modern rock (music), rock and punk, as well as reintroducing some of the ska flavour from Kelly and Andriano's previous band, Slapstick (band), Slapstick. The guitar on the album was supposed to be played by former guitarist of Rise Against, Todd Mohney. He was the guitarist on the EP but he could not attend the recording session for Unicornography due to other commitments.
