Garðar Jóhannsson
Garðar Jóhannsson (born 1 April 1980 in Garðabær) is a retired Icelandic football striker. Career Fredrikstad bought Garðar for 2 million NOK in August 2006, only a month after he was bought for 100.000 NOK by an Icelandic club. Because Garðar had played for KR ReykjavÃk and Valur after 1 July 2006, he had to wait almost one year before he could play matches for Fredrikstad. Garðar made his debut in Tippeligaen against VÃ¥lerenga on 26 May 2007, where he scored the only goal of the match. He scored 18 goals in 58 matches for Fredrikstad. On 22 January 2010, he joined 2. Garðabær () is a municipality in the Capital Region of Iceland. History Garðabær is a growing town in the Capital Region. It is the sixth largest town in Iceland with a population of 13,872 (Sept 1, 2013). The site of Garðabær has been inhabited since Iceland was first settled in the 9th century. Landnámabók, the Book of Settlement, tells of two farms on the site of Garðabær: VÃfilsstaðir and Skúlastaðir. The former was named after VÃfill, who was a slave of Ingólfur Arnarson, the first settler of Iceland. Ingólfur gave VÃfill his freedom and he made his home at VÃfilsstaðir. Strømsgodset is a former municipality in Vestfold county (from 1964 Buskerud county), Norway, today a part of the city of Drammen. History Strømsgodset was originally a small rural annex to the city parish of Bragernes (Drammen).
