Gary Johnson (rugby Union)
Gary Johnson (born 24 April 1984 in Farnborough, London, England) is a Rugby Union player for Cornish Pirates RFC in the Aviva Championship, playing primarily as a Lock. He previously played for London Irish for 10 seasons. Johnson made his London Irish debut against London Wasps, in the 2006–07 EDF Energy Cup. 2006–07 EDF Energy Cup
The 2006–07 EDF Energy Cup marked the 36th season of English domestic rugby union cup competition. It was the second season under the Anglo-Welsh format and the first with EDF Energy as title sponsor. The competition began on 1 September and concluded with the final on Sunday 15 April at Twickenham, where Leicester Tigers beat the Ospreys 41–35. The teams competing remained the same as the previous season with the exception of newly promoted NEC Harlequins, replacing Leeds Tykes, who were relegated to National Division One. Leicester Tigers (officially Leicester Football Club) are a professional rugby union club based in Leicester, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby.
