Gary Hunt
Gary Hunt (born 11 June 1984), also known as Roger Gary Hunt, is an elite sports diver, specialising in cliff or high diving, and is the 2019 World champion in high diving at World Aquatics Championships event, where he holds the championship record. With a silver in the 2013 edition of the event, Hunt is the most successful male diver in the short history of the FINA recognised event. Hunt is a former Olympic hopeful and Commonwealth diver who has a number of medals at Great Britain National Diving championships and placed 3rd in the 10m Synchro event at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. He chose to focus his diving career in the niche area of cliff diving, and has enjoyed a rapid rise to the top of the sport. The 2006 Commonwealth Games, officially the XVIII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Melbourne 2006 (Boonwurrung/Woiwurrung: ''Narrm 2006'' or ''Naarm 2006''), was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth held in Melbourne, Australia between 15 and 26 March 2006. Ik Kil is a cenote outside Pisté in the Tinúm Municipality, Yucatán, Mexico. It is located in the northern center of the Yucatán Peninsula and is part of the Ik Kil Archeological Park near Chichen Itza. It is open to the public for swimming. Description The cenote is open to the sky with the water level about below ground level. There is a carved stairway that leads down to a swimming platform. Walygator Grand-Est is an amusement park located in Maizières-les-Metz, Lorraine, France. Gavin Brown (9 August 1984 – 28 April 2007), sometimes listed as Gavin Hustler-Brown, was a diver from Cottingley, Bradford in West Yorkshire, England. The former diving partner of Olympian Blake Aldridge, Brown died at the age of 22 following a hit-and-run incident. Early life and career At age 13, Brown began to train at the City of Leeds Diving Club under Coach Adrian Hinchliffe. In 1998, Gavin took fourth place at the Junior European Championships. A year later, he won a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships. At age 14, Brown reached the senior European cup finals and in 2000, Gavin won medals at the Six Nations International at Southampton.
