Gary Guy
Gary Guy (born 12 July 1952) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and Dandenong Football Club (VFA).Holmesby & Main (2009), p.331. Guy was recruited by Melbourne from the Carrum Football Club, where he had captained Carrum to back-to-back Mornington Peninsula Football League (MPFL) premierships in 1973–74 while coached by his father Ivan Guy. He finished second in the 1974 MPFL best and fairest count behind teammate Ron Stubbs. Carrum Football Club
The Carrum-Patterson Lakes Football Club is an Australian rules football club from Melbourne, that was founded in 1909 and currently plays in Division 3 of the Southern Football League. History Football has been reported to be played in Carrum since as early as 1902. Between 1902 and 1908 it has been well reported that a 'Carrum Football Club' played pre-season matches against the likes of Frankston Football Club and Mornington Football Club but never competed in an organised competition. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Dandenong Football Club
Dandenong Football Club was an Australian rules football club which played in the Victorian Football Association (VFA). Based in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong, the Redlegs wore navy blue and red as their club colours. Club history From 1953 to 1957 the club played in the Federal Football League. The 1975 VFL season was the 79th season of the Victorian Football League (VFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Victoria. The season featured twelve clubs, ran from 5 April until 27 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top five clubs.
