Gary Davis (American Football)
Gary Curtis Davis (born September 7, 1954) is a former American football running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the sixth round of the 1976 NFL Draft and also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. All of its current members are public universities, and upon UC San Diego's departure on July 1, 2020, all are members of the California State University system (two of them being Cal Polys).
