Gary Bergen
Gary Dean Bergen (July 16, 1933 – July 27, 2010) was an American basketball player. He played collegiately for the University of Utah. Bergen was selected by the New York Knicks in the 1956 NBA draft. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall.
