''Garra surendranathanii'' is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus ''Garra'' from the Western Ghats in Kerala. It occurs on four river systems the Periyar River, Periyar, Chalakudy River, Chalakudy, Pamba River, Pamba and Achenkovil in the state. A decline in habitat quality has endangered this fish. Actinopterygii (; ), members of which are known as ray-finned fishes, is a class of bony fish. They comprise over 50% of living vertebrate species.
