Gareth Edwards (producer)
Gareth Edwards (born 1965) is a radio and television producer and writer. He is the great-grandson of Hollywood pioneer Albert E. Smith, founder of Vitagraph Studios. Robert Webb (actor)
Robert Patrick Webb (born 29 September 1972) is an English comedian, actor, writer, and television personality. He is one half of the double act Mitchell and Webb, alongside David Mitchell. Webb and Mitchell both starred in the Channel 4 sitcom ''Peep Show'', in which Webb plays Jeremy "Jez" Usbourne. The two also starred in the sketch comedy programme ''That Mitchell and Webb Look'', for which they then performed a stage adaption, '' The Two Faces of Mitchell and Webb''. ''Tracey Breaks the News'' is a British topical comedy programme starring Tracey Ullman. It premiered on BBC One on 27 October 2017 following a one-off special that aired on 23 June. After the success of the one-off special on 13 September 2017, the BBC announced that it had ordered three new episodes of ''Tracey Breaks the News''. Like the pilot, the three new shows would "tackle topical stories and current issues in a sketch show written and filmed right up to the day of broadcast." It was also reported that Ullman would impersonate French First Lady Brigitte Macron and Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn. Alison Donnell is an academic, originally from the United Kingdom. She is Professor of Modern Literatures and Head of thSchool of Literature, Drama and Creative Writingat the University of East Anglia. She was previously Head of School of Literature and Languages at the University of Reading, where she also founded the research theme "Minority Identities: Rights and Representations". Her primary research field is anglophone postcolonial literature,* and she has been published widely on Caribbean and Black British literature. ''The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff'' is a four-part comedy series produced by BBC, which premiered on BBC Two on 19 December 2011. It is a parody of the works of Charles Dickens, drawing its title from ''Bleak House'' and ''The Old Curiosity Shop''. It is a television successor to '' Bleak Expectations'', a radio parody of Dickens which began in 2007, and with which it shares the writer Mark Evans, producer Gareth Edwards and actor Richard Johnson; while not a direct adaptation it shares the same style, atmosphere and sense of humour. Anthony Stewart Head (born 20 February 1954) is an English actor and singer. ''Bleak Expectations'' is a BBC Radio 4 comedy series that premiered in August 2007. It is a pastiche of the works of Charles Dickens – such as ''Bleak House'' and '' Great Expectations'', from which it derives its name – as well as adventure, science fiction and costume dramas set in the same period. ''Bleak Expectations'' parodies several of their plot devices whilst simultaneously tending toward a surreal humour along the lines of ''The Goon Show''.
