Ganzeer
Ganzeer ( arz, جنزير , "chain") (born 1982 in Giza) is the pseudonym used by an Egyptian artist who has gained mainstream fame in Egypt and internationally following the 2011 Egyptian Revolution. Prior to the revolution, Ganzeer's popularity was widespread yet limited to the spheres of art and design. Ganzeer's artwork has touched on the themes of civic responsibility and social justice and has been critical of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, or SCAF, which has ruled Egypt since the February 2011 resignation of former president Hosni Mubarak. ''Ganzeer'' means "chain" in Arabic. He is a regular contributor to the online magazine ''Rolling Bulb''. Described by Bidoun Magazine as a "Contingency Artist," Ganzeer is quite accustomed to adopting completely new styles, techniques, and mediums to adapt to the topic he is tackling at any given time. Keizer (artist)
Keizer is the pseudonym of an anonymous Egyptian street artist and graffiti artist whose work has gained popularity and notoriety in Egypt following the 2011 Egyptian Revolution. Keizer is reportedly a 33-year-old male who creates street art in Cairo full-time. Career and Politics Little is known about Keizer's early life, as the artist (identified as a male) has taken steps to protect his identity. He has been photographed wearing a hooded sweatshirt while creating his artwork in order to impede identification. Political street art was not common in Egypt prior to the 2011 revolution, however it has proliferated in public spaces in the post-revolution era. El Teneen
El Teneen (Arabic, "the Dragon") is the pseudonym of an anonymous -year-old Egyptian street artist and graffiti artist whose work gained popularity and notoriety in Egypt following the 2011 Revolution. El Teneen originally formed one half of the pair "Team El Teneen", or "Dragon Team"; however, the artist (identified by Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper as a male) now works primarily independently. His works of art have been described as "icons of the 25 January revolution." He exhibited at Banksy's 2015 Dismaland "bemusement park" in England. Career and politics El Teneen was not an experienced artist before the 2011 revolution, having focused primarily on abstract painting and studying a field related to science, and he reportedly works in graphic design. Chico (Egyptian Artist)
Chico (born 1985/1986) is the pseudonym of an anonymous Egyptian street artist and graffiti artist whose work has gained popularity and notoriety in Egypt following the 2011 Egyptian Revolution. Career and artwork Chico claims not to have studied art formally, although he now teaches it. He has said that he has always been "interested in graffiti and stencils in particular." Chico has stated that he works with stencils because they are "fast and safe." Guy Sorman (born March 10, 1944, Nérac) is a French-American professor, columnist, author, and public intellectual in economics and philosophy.
