Gantz
''Gantz'' (stylized as ''GANTZ'') is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku. It was serialized in Shueisha's ''seinen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Young Jump'' from June 2000 to June 2013, with its chapters collected in thirty-seven ''tankōbon'' volumes. It tells the story of Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato, both of whom died in a train accident and become part of a semi-posthumous "game" in which they and several other recently deceased people are forced to hunt down and kill aliens armed with a handful of futuristic items, equipment, and weaponry. An anime television series adaptation, directed by Ichiro Itano and animated by Gonzo, was broadcast for 26 episodes, divided into two seasons, in 2004. A series of two live-action films based on the manga were produced and released in January and April 2011. A CGI anime film, '' Gantz: O'', was released in 2016. Timothy Gantz
Timothy Nolan Gantz (23 December 1945 – 20 January 2004) was an American classical scholar and the author of ''Early Greek Myth: A Guide to Literary and Artistic Sources''. Gantz received his Bachelor of Arts from Haverford College in 1967, and his Ph.D. in Classics from Princeton University in 1970. From 1970, he was a long-time Professor of Classics at the University of Georgia, where he directed its "Studies Abroad in Rome" program from 1985 to 2003. In 1993 he published his ''Early Greek Myth'', which puts particular emphasis on earlier sources of the Archaic period. The book was received positively, and, according to classicist Robin Hard, "can be recommended unreservedly as a comprehensive guide to the early mythical tradition". Benjamin Gantz ( he, בִּנְיָמִין "בֵּנִי" גַּנְץ, Transliterated: ; born 9 June 1959) is an Israeli politician and retired army general serving as the minister of Defense since 2020 and deputy prime minister of Israel since 2021. Mateh Binyamin Regional Council ( he, מועצה אזורית מטה בנימין, ''Mo'atza Azorit Mateh Binyamin,'' Lit. Council for the Region of the Tribe of Benjamin) is a regional council governing 46 Israeli settlements and outposts in the West Bank. The council's jurisdiction is from the Jordan valley in the east to the Samarian foothills in the west, and from the Shiloh river in the north to the Jerusalem Mountains in the south. The seat of the council is Psagot. The council is named for the ancient Israelite tribe of Benjamin, whose territory roughly corresponds to that of the council. ''Klonoa'' is a platform video game series created by Namco in 1997. It stars Klonoa, an anthropomorphic creature who explores dream worlds. The series includes two main games: '' Klonoa: Door to Phantomile'' (1997) for the PlayStation and '' Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil'' (2001) for the PlayStation 2. A remake of ''Door to Phantomile'' was released for the Wii in 2008, and remasters of both games were released in 2022. Gantz Homestead
The Gantz Homestead, also called the Gantz Farm House, in Grove City, Franklin County, Ohio, United States, was built in or around 1832. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1979. History Adam Johan Gantz was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania on May 10, 1805, to Andrew and Margaret (Harn) Gantz. In 1817, Andrew bought 200 acres of land in Franklin County, Ohio at what is now the southwest corner of Hoover and Home roads. Adam married 16-year-old Catherine Pennix whose family was also from Washington County, Penn. on September 30, 1830. Two years later, he bought 100 acres of land and other property across Hoover Road and built the brick farm house. Today, the area is known as Gantz Park.
