Chief Ganiyu Adams , popularly known as Gani Adams (born April 30, 1970), is a Nigerian activist, politician, traditional aristocrat and the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland. Early life Gani Adams was born on April 30, 1970, at Arigidi-Akoko, presently known as Akoko north-west local government area of Ondo state. Education Gani Adams began his educational career at Army children's school in Otukpo, Benue state. Alhaji Ganiyu Akanbi Bello (10 July 1930 – 5 June 2014) was a prominent Yoruba community leader and business tycoon. Background Dr. Alhaji G A Bello, a Yoruba community ambassador in Kano, was the chairman and chief executive of Criss Cross Ltd. He was popularly known as G A Bello. Bello was born in Oyo State, Nigeria on 10 July 1930 to Abdullahi Yusuf and Sinota Bello, the second of three children. Both parents died while he was a child and he was sent to live with his uncle who refused to send him to school. He left his uncle and started cutting wood in order to fund his school fees. Bello married Sakirat Ayoka Ogabi in approximately 1959. Ganiyu Olawale Dawodu (1935–2006) popularly known as G.O.D. in Lagos, was a Nigerian politician and democracy activist. He was a leading member of the National Democratic Coalition popularly known as NADECO in Nigeria during the reign of Sani Abacha. The coalition then was a puissant movement to free jailed politician M.K.O Abiola from prison, in the process, he was jailed for his pro Abiola stance. In 2000, he was in a battle of supremacy for the Lagos branch of the old Alliance for Democracy political party. He had opposed the emergence of Governor Tinubu in 1998-1999 and had supported the late Funsho Williams, Tinubu's opposition. Ganiyu Bolaji Oseni (born 19 September 1991) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward for V.League 1. Career In his native Nigeria, Oseni started his career at Prime. He had a trial with Esperance Tunis on 29 March 2008 and played two CLP-1 games. He returned to Prime and was loaned out on 2 August 2008 to CSKA Moscow, after a successful trial in July 2008. Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon (born 19 December 1959) is a Nigerian politician. He was senator for the Lagos West constituency from 5 June 2007 to 6 June 2015. He is a member of the Action Congress (AC), now All Progressives Congress (APC). He is a former president of the Rotary Club of Isolo Early life and education Solomon was born on 19 December 1959.
