Ganga Manga
''Ganga Manga'' is a 1973 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film in which Vanisri played a dual role as Ganga and Manga. Krishna and Sobhan Babu played main roles. The film was a remake of the Hindi film ''Seeta Aur Geeta''. Plot Ganga, who lost her parents when she was a child, is the rightful heir to a huge property. She has grown up to be a shy and innocent girl who lives with her uncle and aunt. Every month their family lawyer comes to their home and hands over some money to Ganga. But Durga forcefully takes it from her and harasses her by burdening her with the household work. Durga's brother Bujji always has an eye on Ganga. Ganga's uncle tries to set up a marriage with Ravi, who returns from a foreign country after completing his medicine. Chandra Mohan (born Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao; 23 May 1944) is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu films. He has garnered one Filmfare Award South and two Nandi Awards. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of Telugu cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. . Daasarathi krishnamacharya, popularly known as Daasarathi, also spelled as Daasharathi (22 July 1925 – 5 November 1987) () was a Telugu poet and writer. Daasarathi holds the titles ''Abhyudhaya kavi'' and ''Kalaprapurna''. Suryakantham (28 October 1924 – 18 December 1994) was an Indian actress in Tollywood. She was popular for playing the role of a cruel mother-in-law in most of her movies. Early life Suryakantham was born and brought up in a Telugu Brahmin family residing at Venkata Krishnaraya Puram near Kakinada of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.
