Gandhinagar Second Street
''Gandhinagar 2nd Street'' is a 1986 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film directed by Sathyan Anthikad and written by Sreenivasan from a story by Anthikad. It stars Mohanlal in the lead role, with Karthika, Seema, Sreenivasan, Thilakan, Innocent, Sukumari and K. P. A. C. Lalitha in supporting roles. The film also has Mammootty in a Cameo appearance. Sathyan Anthikad
Sathyan Anthikad is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and lyricist who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. In a career spanning five decades he has directed more than 50 films, been the lyricist for 12 films and been the scriptwriter for 6 films. He is the recipient of several accolades including a National Film Award, five Kerala State Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards. ''Annanagar Mudhal Theru'' () is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Balu Anand. The film stars Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Ambika, Radha. It a remake of the 1986 Malayalam film ''Gandhinagar 2nd Street''. Plot Sivaraman, unable to find a good job, joins a colony as a Gorkha identifying himself as Ramsingh. Ambika lives in the colony with her daughter. Ambika's husband works abroad. A police officer (Jaiganesh) comes to the colony along with his daughter Latha. Latha is none other than Sivaraman's ex-lover. A flashback is shown where Sivaraman and Latha are classmates and in love with each other. But Latha breaks up after a misunderstanding. Innocent Vareed Thekkethala (born 28 February 1948) is an Indian actor and politician. Sankaradi
Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit.
